BESANT NAGAR–The Senior Citizens Group of Besant Nagar (SCGOBN) will meet at 4 p.m. on June 26 to discuss various issues that affect senior citizens, and the general public as well.
The meeting is free for senior citizens, and there is no membership fee, says V. Chandarsekhar, president of the group.
The meeting on June 26 will observe World Continence Week, and will discuss and find solutions to provide more toilets in public spaces, especially the beach.
Some other items will include safety issues of senior citizens staying alone, and increased chain snatching in the area. All are welcome.
