Pick up a book of Chennai author

Here is an opportunity for you to pick up a book written by Chennai-based writers or books that have the city as their theme or landscape.

As part of the annual Madras Day season, Odyssey store in Gandhi Nagar has displayed some 75 plus books right at the entrance of the store so that they catch the shopper’s eye.

Fiction, non-fiction, poetry and theatre are on display, some from award winning authors and some of child writers too.

Odyssey’s boss, Ashwin says his store did this last year and the list has grown this year.

There are some offers too on these books.

Some writers have visited the store and posed for pictures. Obviously, they are feeling good about this special display.
